Kerry Forster
Coaching Overview
An experienced Coach and Mentor with expertise gained across diverse Business Sectors including, Manufacturing, Retail, Newspaper Publishing, Financial services, Professional Development and Management Consultancy.
Kerry is an Independent Consultant with experience of running coaching and training activities in the UK. She is a Graduate of the British Psychological Society and Chartered Fellow of the CIPD.
With a career spanning more than 20 years Kerry has had a variety of generalist and specialist HR practitioner roles which have incorporated coaching and mentoring at all levels to enable individuals and teams to develop skills and achieve personal growth. For the last four years she has primarily focused on coaching Senior HR Professionals to enable them to become CIPD qualified via the Professional Assessment of Competence (PAC) route.
Present Focus
Current areas of focus include:
- Performance coaching and development of managers and professionals
- Mentoring individuals embarking upon significant changes in their lives e.g. self employment, coping with loss, career transition, retirement
- Using various psychometric instruments to assist individuals and teams to meet demanding business goals, enhance performance, achieve personal growth and develop constructive behaviours
Professional Development
Kerry is committed to continuous professional development both for herself and others having attained Chartered Fellow of the CIPD and being the Membership and CPD Adviser for the CIPD Chiltern Branch. In this role she is involved in building the Branch events agenda and these events qualify as continuous Professional development activities. She is licensed by the CIPD to Advise and Assess having achieved her A units through EdExcel and is also qualified by the British Psychological Society to administer Level A and Level B Psychometric Tests. She is additionally qualified to use the Saville and Holdsworth OPQ32 and the Myers Briggs Type Indicator.
