Maureen Scholefield 
Coaching Overview
Maureen is an Executive Coach & Mentor and Independent Consultant, with extensive experience in the fields of Finance, Retail, Hospitality, Manufacturing, Off Shore Finance and Insurance, Computing, Government Departments and Agencies. The size of organisation ranges from micro businesses to large global blue chips. Maureen is British and was born in Zambia.
She is Managing Director and founder of Cullen Scholefield, a member of the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC), an associate of the Corporate Coaching Forum and
coaches in Europe and world-wide.
A Board Level Director with 25 years experience in a wide range of sectors. She is perceptive and rapidly assimilates information and establishes rapport quickly. She has strong skills in all aspects of: human resources, development and design of training interventions, marketing, IT strategy, coaching, mentoring and counselling. She obtains results by utilising her skills in a direct manner, to ensure individual accountability. Apart from executive coaching assignments Maureen is currently working with a large hospital on the introduction of a coaching and mentoring scheme.
Present Focus
Current areas of focus with a large client base include:
- Executive & Individual coaching and mentoring of Directors, Managers from all functions (including newly appointed HR Directors)
- Setting up a coaching network to train and develop internal coaches, monitor their practice and build a coaching network with a dedicated site on the organisation’s intranet
- Developing internal facilitators
- Creation of an approach to Health, Work and Well Being
- Development of interpersonal sensitivity skills for a Sales and Marketing Team operating in Europe, Middle East and Africa
- Facilitation of Business Planning sessions with Boards and Senior Management Teams
- Conduct of HR Audits to ensure that HR departments are compliant

Executive, New to the job or company, Career transition (internal or re-orientation), Performance coaching where expectations are not being achieved either by the manager or the line manager.
Professional Development
Maureen is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development; Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts; Member of the Chartered Management Institute and Honorary Membership of City & Guilds awarded for her services to Training and Development. Maureen is also member of the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC), an associate of the Corporate Coaching Forum and coaches in Europe and world-wide.
Maureen’s ongoing professional experience is as an Executive & Individual Coach and Mentor, Independent Consultant, and has ongoing work with clients such as Ministry of Defence, Allied Irish Bank, Royal Bank of Scotland, Friends Provident, Boots, AXA, Zurich, Vinci, Novartis, Department of Work and Pensions, The Foreign and Commonwealth Office, ACAS Civil Aviation Authority, Faurecia, HCA Healthcare, Hilton Hotels, National Army Museum, States of Guernsey.
