Coaching Overview

An experienced Coach and Mentor with expertise gained within a wide range of sectors including financial services, oil and gas, police service, FMCG Food Production and manufacturing.

Peter has experience of running coaching and training activities in Eastern Europe, the Far East and The Channel Islands. He is an Independent Consultant, Associate of the Corporate Coaching Forum, and a member of the European Mentoring & Coaching Council (EMCC).

A resourceful performance and career coach with extensive expertise in personal growth and development. He works at fulfilling team and individual potential and skills development at all levels but predominantly with senior managers, team leaders and professionals. He obtains results by quickly gaining trust and rapport to help others to become more resourceful, live with change and uncertainty, and become stronger in every aspect of their working lives.

Present Focus

Peter’s current areas of focus include:

  • Performance coaching and development of managers and professionals at all levels
  • Working with individuals from a variety of sectors undergoing career transition
  • Using various psychometric instruments to assist teams to work together effectively to meet     demanding business goals and enhance performance and talent management activities
  • Applying action learning approaches to help teams and individuals develop practical skills
  • Developing communication and presentation skills to deliver effective messages, especially around employability
  • Mentoring individuals embarking upon significant changes in their lives around retirement and self employment
  • Using telephone coaching to ensure continuity of the coaching relationship

Professional Development

Performance Coach, Trainer and Facilitator. Has undertaken project and locum work in organisations such as Granada, LIG, Uniq and Mobil Oil. Prior to this he held a number of HR and Development roles in the AA, BBC, Dun & Bradstreet and Lunn Poly.

His professional development has been a continuous process through CIPD membership (Fellow), Chartered Secretarial study (ACIS), NLP (NLP qualified coach and Master Practitioner), and numerous continuous professional development activities. He is also licensed to use psychometric instruments such as OPQ32, MBTI and the Hogan Development Survey.
