Wendy Strohm - Development Manager
Wendy joined us in December 2009, she will by June 2010 be responsible for the quality assurance of all our programmes, she will also manage the consulting team.
She is a consultant specialising in quality assurance of the training and development function. Wendy has held a range of training and development roles, including the FE sector as a business lecturer and at strategic level in-company responsible for the training and development and HR functions.
Wendy has worked in the quality assurance arena for 15 years, working for NCVQ in the development of vocational qualifications in the early days. Wendy works for a number of awarding organisations, in a variety of roles related to quality assurance of QCF-aligned qualifications.
Wendy has a great deal of experience of design and delivery of training and development solutions, and of assessment and internal quality assurance implementation. She has been instrumental in contributing to the development of national regulatory standards for qualifications and in developing awarding organisations policies, processes, tools and measures to monitor standards.
Wendy holds a Masters in Human Resource Management and Industrial Relations, a teaching degree in Business Studies and Information Technology, and a higher diploma in Business and Finance. For her current CPD Wendy is currently working toward a Level 7 qualification in Executive Coaching.
Wendy is a Chartered Fellow of CIPD, a Fellow of the Institute of Leadership & Management, a Fellow of the Institute for Learning, a Fellow of the Institute of Training & Occupational Learning, a Fellow Licentiate of the Institute of Assessors and Internal Verifiers, and a Member of the Associate of External Verifiers.
