Carol Bates - Human Resource Director
Carol has been with Cullen Scholefield since January 1987 with a focus on supporting and developing people within organisations regardless of the level at which an individual operates.
Carol is involved with numerous consultancy projects for a variety of organisations representing all sectors of business. One of Carol’s many strengths is the development of teams and individuals so that together they can achieve the business goals and objectives.
Projects include the facilitation of change, team building events, use of psychometric tests where they add value and offer another dimension to the client. She supports the development of HR strategy and plans for private and public organisations. The design, implementation and interpretation of employee surveys are another key area of Carol’s work.
Carol continues to be involved with the design and delivery of training programmes raising a public organisation’s understanding of issues around equal opportunities. She has also worked with a large international bank developing key people to be able to undertake a graduate recruitment programme. She is currently working with the senior team of a large Pharmaceuticals company to help the newly appointed team to work more effectively together.
Carol is quickly able to assimilate organisational business needs and provide HR solutions to recognised needs through the involvement of the organisation’s Senior Management Team
Carol has a degree in Psychology, a Masters in Ergonomics and is a Graduate member of the British Psychological Society. She is a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD.
