This workshop explores the art of effective Boardroom Briefing, from planning, through to delivery and the follow-up actions. It sis designed specifically for those who need to develop impact and achieve their full potential through the application of simple but effective tools of planning and delivery.
Aim:
To introduce delegates to a structured approach to preparing and delivering a briefing to the Board, using some simple but highly effective techniques that will enhance performance and stature, as well as building confidence and self esteem.
Objectives:
By the end of this workshop delegates will be able to:
- Apply a range of analytical tools to establish qualitative and quantitative data as the starting point for planning a briefing
- Structure a briefing so that all required information is presented in a logical format and with maximum impact
- Apply some effective techniques of data presentation
- Identify common pitfalls in preparing and presenting data
- Produce supporting materials to maximize the impact of a presentation
- Deliver a briefing confidently and with maximum impact
- Read body language and respond appropriately, whilst avoiding giving off the wrong message through own body language
- State the requirements for and apply post meeting actions
Methods:
This one day workshop will be highly participative and will include the planning, delivery and follow up of a Boardroom Briefing.
