Investors in People – update: the new models
- Perhaps your organisation is planning to be re-assessed against the new standard, or
- Your organisation is about to be assessed for the first time
This workshop explores the framework of the new Investors in People standard, identifying how it differs from the previous model and emphasising how the new standard provided an improved, more business focused approach to measuring organizational effectiveness.
Aim:
To introduce delegates to the new Investors in People Standard, covering the different levels of assessment and attainment in comparison with the original model.
Objectives:
By the end of this workshop delegates will be able to:
- Describe the framework of the new Investors in People standard and identify how this differs from the original version
- Identify the key reasons why the standard was changed and apply these to own organizational performance
- List the key stages involved in the assessment process, from application to final assessment
- State key areas for likely focus, given the changes to the standard.
Methods:
This one day workshop will involve active discussions around experience of the Investors in People initiative and how the new model might be applied in reality.
