It is widely recognised that work roles demand mastery of 'hard' and 'soft' skills.  The hard skills being the technical capability to carry out the job and the soft skills being those that cover how working relationships are managed.  We believe that in fact the hard skills are the easiest to develop and that the so called soft skills are really hard to gain!
