CIPD Membership Grades
The structure
There are levels of membership - Chartered Member and non-chartered grades. Within the Chartered Member level there are three grades. Achievement of these grades allow you to use the designation of Chartered Fellow or Chartered Member after your name. Chartered Companion grade is by invitation only.

There are a number of non-chartered grades. None of these permit you to use a designation after your name.
- Graduate
- Licentiate
- Associate
- Affiliate
- Organisation membership
