The concept of audits is well established by finance professionals. The concept of an audit trail is readily recognised by all organisations who are regulated.
In these interesting times it is essential to be pro-active. HR Audits are particularly useful when the HR department is in the early stages of evolution and the organisation is growing at a pace. Our expertise can be used as an external 'health check' to ensure that no key area of Human Resources has been overlooked. We can also look at working practices to ensure that the function is providing best value to the organisation.
Another example of how we have helped clients is to help establish the HR function. We are either retained to work with the client on a regular basis or we are used in a set up role. Here we often help in the selection of an HR officer and then continue to provide support to the successful candidate.
